Silkwood School Winter Festival 2023 Fire Twirling by Year 7 Students. After 8 weeks, 2 hours a week every Friday the year 7 students of Silkwood School put on the most amazing fire show at their annual Winter Festival. I couldn’t be more proud of these legends who accomplished not only the choreography but dancing with Fire while learning all about fire safety and risk management. It was certainly a challenge to manage 72 twelve year olds in this environment, but any challenge helps you grow. And there are no limitations to what the future generation can achieve with the correct risk management and encouragement.
