Tip The Talent at Dreamworld Night Markets – 17th and 18th February 2023. What you need to know:

Production: What Dreamworld Night Markets will supply at each performance location
- There will be 1 of these PA Speakers at each performance location: https://products.electrovoice.com/la/en/zlx-12p/
- There will also be a handheld mic and stand, plus a headset mic for performance acts.
- There will be 230V power but no multiplug power board. If you need a power board please bring your own.
- You are free to bring as much equipment as you need to make your act sound how you would like it to sound.
- Please note, there is a 30-minute turnaround at each location.
- Dreamworld Night Markets are only supplying 1 speaker and 1 mic.

The night markets will not be charging entry at the door, so you can ask for tips and sell any merchandise you wish, like CDs & Tee’s etc…
Performance Location
There are 4 x performance locations each night, open between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Only 2 locations at any 1 point will be active which means there is a 30-minute turnaround at each location. Please pack up your gear as fast as possible so the next act can get set up, ready and complete a sound check.

Make your way to the security office which is located between the main entrances of Dreamworld and Whitewater World. On top of the building is the word ‘HAPPINESS HQ’.
Here you will have to sign in via a paper document located on the security desk.
Please follow the instructions on the notepad.
Any issues ask the security guard at the desk to contact Daniel Byrne.
Bump-in
The security office is the closest place to park for the bump-in of your equipment. You will need to carry your equipment no more than 150 meters to your allocated stage. Please do not park in front of the security office for more than 20 minutes.
Please arrive at least 1-hour before your allocated time slot. The markets will be open to performers from 4:00 pm QLD.
You will also need to sign out before leaving.
Parking
Please park in the car park opposite the entrance. It’s a huge car park!
Green Room
There is a green room to relax in before or after your act, there are toilets within the park and refreshments.

BeatBox QLD presents; DJ Reks & Ray D.O – Ross Thorpe aka DJ Reks (QLD Beatbox Champion 2011-2013) – Lukey Gray aka Ray D.O (QLD Vice Beatbox Champion 2022 & Top 16 Australia) 2 of the best beatboxers this side of Mars.
Joel The Cirque Stuntman – He’s funny, he’s hilarious, he’s certainly outrageous and he has been entertaining audiences internationally for over 20 years performing unbelievable circus stunts in theatres, cruise ships and circuses all over Australia, the USA, Belgium, Poland, Germany and New Zealand.
Marcus Cyro; Cyrious Acro Extraordinaire – Circus Street Performance combining Cyro wheel and high balance.
Chloe Marshman; Hula Hooping Flow Artist. Chloe is a young performer bringing hoops to the busking stage! This act is full of energy, excitement and of course hoops galore. This pocket rocket has a very large show. The involves Hula Hoops and Fire and seriously packs a punch.
Martial Fire; Martial Fire is a wow-factor fire show combining flaming swords and explosive martial art weapons, fire whips and fire-breathing backflips! All presented with a combination of exciting fire explosions, sparks, and special effects. This show always keeps everyone on the edge of their seats.
Melon The Human – Far more skilled at circus than he appears and accompanied with dry, awkward wit. Specialising in object manipulation, Melon has left global audiences stunned with his juggling finesse of unique objects including the broom and cube, and has toured with Circus Rio and Cirque Du Soleil.
Jac Lefebvre and Joanne Barreto – Jac & Jo play a mixtiure of Jazz and RnB. Sounds through 2 guitars to entertain the crowds.
Tetrahesion – Rob is a multi-skilled performer from the UK, based in the Goldcoast, Queensland. Circus – Juggling – Acrobatics.
The Juggling Liam Show – Juggler, clown and balloon twister!
Trilliah – My intention is to gather as many of us as possible. To play together. To heal together. To sing together. To dance together. My vision for this is huge.
Magic Pete – Pete’s comedy magic show is a combination of stand-up comedy, magic and plenty of audience participation.
DJ Freddy FlyFingaz – Dropping a funky upbeat set to keep you dancing through the night
Aiden Scofield – Magic Show, Rubik’s cube and so much more!
Felicity Lawless – Visionary Bohemian rocker, Felicity Lawless stimulates the senses and elevates the soul with music fusing Gypsy, world rock and folk elements. Her sound is characterised by a flashy, Spanish guitar style, soaring vocal melodies and hypnotic rhythms. She performs with an energy that elevates and inspires while infusing her crowds with enthusiasm and joy.
Blaze the Magician – “Comedy magic of Blaze the magician” A magic show like no other.
Tin Parlour – 5-piece band. An eclectic mixture of rock, folk, blues & pop. We write about love, our human experience & environmental challenges. Sweet harmonies are a hallmark of a repertoire of both originals & covers that span everything from chilled ballads to edgy & contemporary indie rock.
Kizuna Taiko – Kizuna Taiko is the Gold Coast’s own local community Japanese drumming team. We’ve been sharing the art and power of taiko drumming around Australia for over 10 years. The group’s name, KIZUNA, means “bond” in Japanese. This represents the bond between the people of Australia and Japan. Kizuna’s aim is to share the tradition of Japanese culture by bringing their drumming performance to the Australian community.
